I acquired this gold bag from the collection of Glenn Dienst who sadly passed last year. Glenn was a great guy and will be missed! Someday I would like to find the Vanguard that this bag fits on. I already have another Vanguard with the all white box top bag and green trim. For now I was thinking of pairing with this Eureka just for fun!

Btw, I've found both the upper and lower bearings in the Eureka pancake motors are very easy to grease. I remove the rubber top of the bearing and use automotive grease to grease them. I don't know why I didn't think of this before. It's easy! Ignore the fan in the picture. I replaced it with a new one.

I know of a couple other of those bags in collections awaiting a machine. Lol very special bag you got there.

I inherited one of those cleaners a year or so ago. Noisy but man do they have POWER!

Mine did sound a lot better after I greased the bearings. That seemed to help a lot!

I know I greased them on mine. Its just a wild beast. I don't use it often, the handle feels too weak to use heavily. Its just flimsy
