Hello Everyone!

About a week ago while Ebay surfing I found a red Sanitaire version of the Eureka Excalibur. My family had the green model back in the mid-1990s, and although it had its faults and certainly not the strongest suction in the world, it was unique and I wish I would've held onto it. Therefore, I was VERY excited to find the commercial version only 1 state away.

However, bad news first started when I noticed what the delivery service left on the front porch... a badly damaged box with the front of power nozzle showing right through. Then, to test the machine... which ran perfectly by the way with its chromed brush roll... suction was very poor. I checked all the air flow lines and completely clear. Further examination revealed cracks in bag housing and the bottom motor housing's support/screw pegs were damaged. Motor supports no longer seat it properly, and a fair amount of exhaust air was being omitted from even the right-hand side hose and extension wand holders. Just cracks and leaks everywhere... SO disappointing.

With that being said, after having the joy of finding such a vacuum model again, is anyone out here in vacuumland willing to part with a very good working condition Eureka Excalibur?

Appreciate it!!!
