At one time you could order these decals from Compact. I have seen and have a couple new old stock decals for a c-4 and c-6. Seems to me the are sticky but are applied like a child's tattoo if that makes sense. Now I've never put one on so I could be very wrong but that's how it looks to be. They are put on a waxy thin paper and peel off and I would say get put on with a damp cloth.

I used to have them when I had my business, they actually were applied by soaking the decal which was on sort of a waxed paper in warm water for a few seconds, then sliding the transfer off the waxed paper onto the vacuum, they used to look great. Keep an eye on eBay, they do show up from time to time.

Those would be known as water slide decals. Cheap to make for a company, but very susceptible to damage and can easily fall off if the vacuum ever got damp or was cleaned with a cleaner. Hot Wheels used them a lot in the 1970's.

Yes, EVERYONE be very careful when cleaning your Compact machine. Avoid the decal if possible. I used plain water one time and wiped it down. The next morning it was all cracked and peeling off.

Antoine,
No I don't know of anyone who has them. I got some of the ones I found from Tania (airwaylady) years ago and before then I got a couple from an old retired Compact dealer. I have never seen the flower decals available but if I found C-4 decals new old stock from 1955 then I am sure the 70's ones are out there still. Good luck
