A lot of unscrupulous people like to divide their auction cost between the buy it now price and the shipping charge so they can trick buyers into buying it or make it seem like a better deal. That's why eBay started charging sellers fees on the shipping cost, it didn't work.

There is no way that costs $100 to ship. I have an old Bee-Vac vacuum that is similar in age and it barely weighs more than a sack of potatoes. Antique vacs are really lightweight, ironically.
