Hi everybody! First thing I love to show you, is my vintage old style Hoover hose attachment, which is actually called the Hooverflex. My mom got this for me on eBay because I always wanted one of those for the older Convertibles, like my deluxe convertible u4009. It also came with an all purpose brush, 2 crevice tools, and 2 old style wands. I cleaned the Hoover brush, hose, and crevice tool with my moms homemade cleaning spray and dawn soap, and it turned out nice and clean, almost like new. I’m not what to do with the 2 wands, should I keep them for spare or sell them for someone who is crazy for vintage Hoover vacuums? And the other crevice tool is interesting, not sure if it goes to a Hoover.

Here is every vacuum collectors favorite, the old style converter. Patented in Canada, 1956.

And here’s the Ultraflex hose attachment, my mistake the first place. It’s a little stretchy but really nice! Also patented in Canada, 1957, the year when the first Convertible, model 65 came out.

And now finally! My new vintage vacuum of my collection, a brown Panasonic Jet Flo Dual Purpose MC 658u! It’s such nice small little vacuum! I got this for $25 from larryeddy, a member from vacuumland! When I saw this I was very interested so I got out my checkbook and sent it to him and finally got it! I think this was made around the early 80’s, maybe someone knows. And it’s in nice shape too! Anyways enjoy!

Yes! Larry gave me another mini jet flo he was going to sell, but since I was really patient and mentioned to him that I’m a huge vacuum collector, he decided to throw it in with the brown jet flo I brought! Jackpot!!! This is a MC 655u, also around early 80’s. Nice red color too!

Nice finds!

Like those Hoover attachments. I'd keep the extra wands. You never know when you'll get another machine and might need them. Hoover attachments aren't easy to find around here.

The Panasonics are very cute.

Fan of fans thank you, I think you’re right about the wands.

And forgot to mention not only I love the Ultraflex, I actually love the tufflex hose I still have, I have 2, one for the later Convertibles,Concepts, and Portapower, I was being a picky priss about attachments, lol. The tufflex are built to last forever!

Excellent tools, indeed!

I have all of the different types, big surprise. On our Convertible 67, it came with the Ultraflex set, with the converter attached,,, a little after those in the pic. Sometimes, the hose would split at the coupling...from a lot of use. Later, came Tufflex. I LOVE Tufflex.
I also prefer the older crevice tool. I'd keep the wands, for every reason imaginable.
Wonderful tools all around.
ENJOY!
