I'm not sure where the ambition came from, but, I rode the wave. Perhaps it's the change of the season. I have to clean the yard, resume work on/in the house.
But, I got into a cooking mode........ I've recently made: chicken Alfredo lasagna, chicken cordon bleu, sauteed garlic, scallops, shrimp, parsley, served over fresh fettuccine, banana nut bread, and, the weekly Irish soda bread.Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
I'll have to start thinking about a Spring mini meet soon, as well.

There WERE vintage Hoovers all over the first floor. And, they were the topics of a few conversations. I told them, 'Thy make a nice accent piece in any home".

I was at a Christmas party in Philadelphia, where that lasagna was first served. Everyone raved over it. So, I made it a few times now,as well. It is a lot of work. So, I make a large amount. It freezes well, and, seems to get better the longer it stays around.

Lasagna is one of my favorite foods and I make it from scratch. It's a comfort food for me. I have experimented with chicken and a Alfredo sauce. It wasn't as good but I figure maybe some day I'll give it a try again. Something else I like to do is a chicken with Alfredo sauce pizza.
