For years we've used Bissell Little Greens in our house because my mom have always loved using them. Our Bissell 1720-1 was retired not too long ago and thought that we may never need to use it again because we haven't been getting any spots on our carpets again (Mainly because most of us has moved out of the house). But there's still some times where we still get spills on the carpets so we've finally decided to get a new spot cleaner. My parents have considered getting another Little Green again but for me working at a Bissell warranty dealer, I've finally had it with Bissell because of their terrible service or otherwise I would've gone for another Little Green. Never have I used a Hoover version before but the store that I work for sells them and it costed about the same as the Little Green so I finally decided to let my parents give the Hoover a shot because I've heard positive reviews about the Spotless. They ended up buying it from Amazon for $90 because with Prime, they can always send it back if they are not satisfied with it. So this is the red basic model, there's another one that's the green pet version but from what I know they are both the same cleaner.

So far, this is quite nice. It's lighter, quieter, and definitely more powerful than our Little Green. I really like the upholstery tool because I think it scrubs better and I think the rubber bristles will never wear out. I never liked how the bristles wore down when I used the Little Green. And I also like how the hose handle feels better quality than the Little Green. I found it very interesting on how this has the hose cleaning port. We've always had to rinse the Little green in our sink which definitely did got annoying to do so my mom would really love that feature on the Hoover. So far, I think this will turn out really well. It has a two year warranty and that's another plus compare to the Little Greens, they've always came with one. Probably tomorrow I might use this to clean some spots on our carpets but I kinda doubt it because we just had our carpets cleaned recently lol.

I just got an early (perhaps the first) Little Green too at Goodwill. haha I bought it to replace the Bissel Spotbot I got at a yard sale in 2014 that I got ripped off on. It leaks like a colander and I have no idea why, but I just never really liked it. I think the Little Green will be a lot better, plus I never used that SpotBot function either. I just have to oil and give the motor some TLC because it sounds rough like it needs it.

We used to have a Spotbot as well. Although I thought it did the job, my parents weren't satisfied by the circle spots it left behind so we took it back and bought the Proheat 2X.
