Hi,
I’ve been a member on here for quite a while but haven’t posted before so: Hello!
I’ve inherited a lot of vacuums, from a family member who worked at Hoover. A few of them are new and unused and most are in excellent condition. He was in marketing so I think he got a lot of trial models and export versions. Thought I’d kick off with this one - I can’t find anything about the “Hoover 51” anywhere and I wondered if anyone knew anything about it. It’s a top fill model which I wasn’t even aware was available on this style of Junior. It has a European plug on it so it's definitely an export model. Model number is U1016 from September 1976.
Thanks.

Hi,

Funny you posted this I saw one of these with the 51 logo on eBay in Germany about a month ago and wondered what the story was behind the branding.

Would assume it's some sort of branding for a retail chain as I know Hoover Europe did that for chains like Euronics and a few others.

It's it great condition, really interested to see what other machines you inherited ?

Mark
