I have a Hoover Model 28 bakelite motor cover if anyone needs one. I also have a Hoover 28 with cover (but no handle). Just left over stuff. Y'alls for the asking (and shipping).

Hoover cover

Hi Mark, I'd like the cover-- does it have the cellulose lens for the lamp? Also if the brush roll from the 28 motor is good, and you have the bottom plate fan cover, I could use those as well but don't need the whole housing. Thx!

WillCo - Charles

I have one cellulose lens but it is yellowed a little, a little crack and a chip - I will handle it carefully. I do not have a brush roller but I do have the bottom plate. I need to run now, but please send me an email "off-thread" with shipping instructions.

Send me shipping instructions "off thread". I have a cover for you. However, the holes that play the female role in connection with the pegs at the back have a little of the bakelite broken off (like two tabs broken off) but inboard and down so the damage is not visible and, as my uncle Bill used to say, "Don't hurt the runnin' of it none." More significantly in this case, doesn't hurt the appearance. That stuff is so darn brittle.
