I have a chocolate brown Filter Queen model 33 that seems pretty complete. It came with the wider floor tool along with the matching felt pad attachment. As shown in the pictures it has a short curved tube that swivels at the nozzle and is removable in the right position. I doubt that it is the original tube because it won't connect to the Filter Queen wand or hose system. What do I need to make it work?

That is a filter queen floor nozzle because where the chrome wand cones ta there’s the little squares on the nozzle, the wand you have might just go to a different model.

Sorry, you're wrong! That's a Rainbow carpet nozzle and wand. They will NOT fit a Filter Queen.

Sorry. I’m not familiar with rainbow. I only know filter queen and Electrolux. I just though it would be the same with the design of the squares

Does anyone know when this brown Model 33 came out? I found another post on this site for the pink and cream one and someone said 1968, not sure if that includes this one too? I looked all over Google through about 20 pages and couldn't find any information of use.

That's an early 1980's model. It has the heat shield, but still has the felt pad (which should NOT be standing so tall on the crown, use the upper hooks to attach it) which makes it around 81 or 82. In 84, with the launch of the Princess, they went to a dedicated bare floor tool with its own swivel neck built in.
