ok, well, it's brand new to me. Complete with everything including the owner's manual...except for the two wands, main floor tool and crevice tool. The seller assures me the wands & floor tool have been found and are on their way. :-) storage boxs in sad shape but presently being repaired - additional hidden reinforcement and reglued edges. Original supple cord and strain relief, w replacement plug. Hose in fine cosmetic shape has been resealed with liquid latex treatment. |

Felix is now almost full sized as Hector. I think he's gonna get a whole lot larger. What a magnificent squirrelly tail plume! Interestingly, the 1947 manual gives instructions to use the LEWYT 40 as a wet suds & water pickup vacuum when shampooing carpets...simply remove the paper filter cone & cloth filter cone tent support and only collect water up to the hose intake port, empty tub of dirty water and resume sucking. |
