For the last 2 weeks I have been eyeing this machine... whats odd about it is the fact that it is an older style fury with a pull out lint trap. Date code is 0050 so it was made in 2000 and For $12 I couldn’t pass it up! Has anyone ever seen this version of the fury before?

I'd say you did good. I'd have trouble resising getting one if I saw one. I only ever saw one Fury in a thrift store and it was way back in 2007 or 2008 at Habitat.

I don't know much about them, although I have seen a version on here with orange trim instead of green.

Oh man I LOVE this Fantom Fury.. it is just like the one I bought when they first came out. I remember seeing a friends Fury about a year later and noticed it was slightly different (No lint trap)

So glad you found one in such great shape and the bare floor tool is still attached.. you’ll just have to find yourself the dusting brush and you will be all set.

I wish I had both my Fantom back, I had the very first Thunder, ordered it off an infomercial on TV and the very first Fury like yours.. they were very nice vacuums and fun. My first experience with Bagless as I didn’t even know about Dyson vacuums for many years later, around the time of the DC07 I think was my first Dyson.

Thanks for sharing and congratulations on a great find!

I tend to like them and I have 3, it’s just odd I haven’t seen the pull out trap.
Not to mention the machines power is worse than one with a lint screen at the top. The bin is pretty clear still so I imagine it wasn’t used a lot, I’ll be going through it thoroughly next week.
