I saw an ad for this central vac on Craigslist and finally was able to get with the owner to pick it up. It's a Broan and appears to have little use. The dirt pan had very little dirt inside and the cloth filter wasn't too dusty. The seller told me they were redoing the house after recently purchasing it and didn't want the central vac. It came with the non-electric hose, an electric hose, wands, various attachments and a Hayden power nozzle. While I was exploring and cleaning it up, I found a clog in the power nozzle and one in the electric hose that must have been two feet long. Wood chips (?) and dog hair. I cleaned the hoses, washed the filter and gave it a good bath. It works beautifully now - I can't wait to try the power nozzle!

The odd little critter on top of the Broan is a Danderator Vacuumatic Massager. I'd never seen one before, you can use it on the blower end of your cleaner or the suction end to "capture loose hair and debris." I've not tried it on myself and the dog bolts in the other direction when he even hears a cord being pulled from a vacuum so I'll have to wait until Fred is here next week!

Greg that is a sure a great looking central vacuum. I know that you are going to enjoy using this once you get it istalled. The Hayden power nozzle is in MHO one of the best. That is the same power nozzle that came with my Airway.

Probably one of the things that I miss the most about living in Milwaukee, is the Central Vac at my Mom's house. I'd have one installed and ready to go, if it weren't for the fact that we're renting.
