I was wondering how much the Kirby G Series Mini Em-Tor has improved over the years. What is the difference between the first Em-Tor (G3-G5), the second Em-Tor (GSix-Early Sentria) and the latest emtor (Late Sentria-Avalir 2). How much has the airflow improved over the 28 years that the G Series has been produced? Is there a noticeable difference?

Basically in a nutshell, the airflow of G3 was around 115 CFM and the Sentria II / Avalir has around 137 CFM.

I would say a marginal improvement over the years. The end-user would be unable to tell the difference without an air flow meter.

Kirby's airflow never improves because they do it right from the beginning! .

Along With Airflow Improvements, The Brushroll Has Become

more aggressive, so the total cleaning performance has jumped quite a bit since the G3. BUT, if all you want to see is CFM over the years, I have posted a table here:
