So which Royal model was the first to adapt the big metal power nozzle? Was it the Pony (tank) or the canister (swivel top)? Just curious. I am guessing the swivel top version.

The first power nozzle, the model 497, was optional for both. It was made by Air-Way and Royal first introduced the option in 1974.
