I have had this 1965 Kirby Dual Sanitronic 50 for close to 4 years! Finally getting to him! He had a generic blue unbranded bag put on him when I bought him. I can't find an original tan bag that he should have, but I found this generic tan pattern bag on EBay!!! I love it! It looks like it came on him! His tan color is called Sirraco Tan. Sammy loves doing things he's never done! So, I asked him to change his bag for me! I told him he's got to be smart for the both of us! Where I lack, he has to know! Haha! Well, stupid me, can't find his brushroll that I never knew was missing, so no Kirby action until I order him one! I took pics of him with my 70s Kirby Omega and my 2006 Kirby Sentria! I used a Kirby to clean up after a Kirby! Haha! Also, when Kirbys are sleeeping, they become coat racks! Haha! I have a 1984 Kirby Heritage II that I will be getting up and running soon too! Gotta love a good Kirby!

Thanks Les for all your help ! Never could have attempted to do this without your help. Started sanding and polishing the hood yesterday, still have some scratches to remove but it is getting better each time.

Have you tried steel wool? Maybe 800 - 2000 grit sand paper. Those are deep maybe steel wool then high grit to smooth out.
Luxy your d50 looks alot better with new bag.

Thank you! I agree! It may not be original, but it looks more like a bag that would've come on it!

It does on ebay they have a top fill bag that looks exactly like original but is top fill. I'll provide link. I bought 2 green bags I'm going to have zipper put on them use them for my d80 sentria bag system conversion.
The bag is identical to one i have. If you counter offer 20 they counter with 25 free shipping.
The first pic I can't delete 2nd is green top fill and 3rd is on sanitronic 7 but bag looks like that. I do have a tan top fill bag but not on a machine I have a red sanatronic aftermarket on 510.
