So LG has decided to try and get into the cordless stick vacuum segment again, after retiring (after barely a year on the market) a great cordless in their CordZero 2 in 1 vacs.
They show little creativity as this newest vacuum is simply called LG CordZero.
Not much info on it yet but sadly from just looking at the few pictures, it looks like a Dyson knock off with an air powered mini brushroll instead of a motorized one like all Dyson and the new Oreck Pod Cordless.
I do admit it looks aesthetically pleasing but it will most likely fall way short of the Dyson V10 but probably be as costly.
Just found it interesting and I signed up for more information on it when available.. so I’ll let you all know when I hear more.
Thoughts? Opinions.. I’m curious what you guys think, especially us who’ve been discussing the Dyson V10 or the thread about the Oreck Pod... I SO want to buy the Oreck Pod!
Thanks
New Update... from a CNET article online.. this LG is supposed to last 80 (yes Eighty) minutes on one charge (Two 72 Volt Lithium Ion 40 Minute each runtime, Removable Batteries Included) and “spins 16 times faster than an airplane engine” apparently they want to give Dyson a run on cordless replacing corded machines.
Other Info per CNET:
Five-step HEPA filtration system
140 AW of suction
Axial Turbo Cyclone to capture fine dust
Anti-tangle brush roll
Included Free Standing Charging Center
Now for the INSANE news... if CNET is correct this LG CordZero will retail for (sit down before reading!) around $900 bucks! NINE hundred! Whaaaaat? Lol
You are right. It does indeed look like another Dyson knock-off. They all seem to nowadays. It doesn't look to have any distinguishable characteristics. I haven;t owned many LG items in recent years, other than a cell phone or two. Even those were uninteresting.
