I bought a G4 shampooer a while back but a newer model suds screen came with it... Is there anyway around this or do I need to buy a new one?

It should work on any g series. The exception maybe avalir or sentria 2. But i think this is universal for g series just different color.

@Lesinutah I must be doing something wrong.

The screen seems to be the same diameter as piece where I attach it do I need to heat up the screen a bit to fit over it or just put in the hose?

Just cut a bit of old T shirt and put it over the part where the screen is supposed to go and put the hose on over the T shirt piece. Worked for me.

No problem! I was in a similar situation in which the screen part had separated from the plastic plug part.
