I'd also like to know if I can source repair manuals for these machines somewhere. |

I know nothing about the AP-100 or the E-2000, but with the different hose connectors, I'm guessing they're from one of the European incarnations of Electrolux. The Super J is definitely a piece of heavy American metal and it's known to be a brute with a larger, more powerful motor. The hose connector is the standard one Electrolux USA introduced on the 1205 and used on its successors for the next few decades.

The AP100 AND E2000 are Canadian made machine ,The SuperJ is US
both the ap 200 and the E2000 are plastic bodies machine and have diffrent inlets than us yes. The super J is american metal made stronger motor and bigger thats why its longer .I own the Electrolux AP-200 plastic body machine love it so much i think they use diffrent motor also . |

Here is the serial number of the last one I bought. I read in another post here that some of the SuperJs had an issue and you can tell by the serial number, what about this one?

Some Super J's had bad motors after a fire at the factory disrupted Electrolux's own motor production and they were forced to source them from a third party. The defective motors were replaced and those machines got a 'five-year warranty' sticker. It's pretty safe to say that more than 40 years later, any surviving Super J's most likely have good motors.

Hi and Welcome (Bonjour et Bienvenue :) )
Nice to see another Canadian. The Super J is a US model produced from 1975 to 1978. The AP100 was a Canadian model and the first of the AP line. It was produced from 1973 to 1976 in the Montreal plant. Early versions came with the PN5 power nozzle and a telescopic wand while later ones came with the PN100 power nozzle and a two piece wand. The E2000 was also a Canadian model and the first of the E series machines. It was produced from 1982 to 1985 also in the Montreal plant. Doug |

Hey Francois:
If you want to see what the original parts (and some of the optional ones) were for the machines the ones I have in my collection are pretty much complete. smithcollection.altervista.org/... Doug |

The first hose, the woven one, is indeed the original. The second one, with the switch, is an aftermarket one. The woven hoses are known to leak like sieves when they get some age on them. Vinyl hoses are far more satisfactory but third party ones can sometimes be problematic. I guess you're lucky your switch is stuck in the 'on' position.
