There is a Kirby 1c yes a 1c on ebay. It has over a day left starting bid is 499. It looks mostly original. I know 505s are rare but I've not seen a model c let alone 1c for sale. If I had money I wouldn't tell anybody and hope I could snatched it.
Headline is vintage rare 1930's kirby model c vacuum cleaner
If anyone here wins it please share info thanks

The one that's on ebay, handle is a later handle, the original would have a wooden handle end.
Here's a picture of my C.
The bag is a replacement on mine.
Mine was a gift from someone, I'm the second owner.

Yes, they're about as rare as you can possible get.

I would say that the elusive R-series (with the switch in the handle) is even more rare. A beautiful machine for sure, but the rebuild plate and lack of original bag depreciates the value significantly.

Yes, an early C is just about as rare as a R, good luck in finding one!
