Recently picked this up from the curb a week or so ago. Had to throw a cord on it which I had a grey one in the hoard that matches well enough. Needs a new brush/belt, missing adjust o rite and baseplate. Already took it all apart and checked inside the motor, cleaned all the dirt out. I'm on the fence about saving the outer bag, I'll break it down to just the bag and throw it in the washer on light duty, had good luck with other Royal outer bags that way. If not I have another one I can swap on. Motor is nice and healthy and sounds very good! This is my third royal machine! It'll look real nice all polished up!

It never ceases to amaze me what people will throw away. Such wastefulness...

Hank,

Cool find you have, this 85th Anniversary Edition Royal! I would love to see you make a video or two of this soon, please.

Serial number dates this to September 1990.

The replacement parts you'll need for this:
2-088169-200 Adjust-O-Rite plate, light blue
2-675227-000 revolving brush assembly
1-672260-001 belt
1-285270-000 rug plate

Is the cord on this 25 or 40 feet long? The original factory long cord was likely 40 feet long (part no. 1-028537-B00).

~Ben
