Can't help but wonder if the new company that Eureka was sold to is just updating the site or if it is gone for good, but at this point, eureka.com no longer exists.

I found the same thing when trying to use my “Favorites” button and it did this several times.

You simply have to enter the website in manually and the website is still there.

Eureka also has www.eurekafloorrover.com... website for their new Floor Rover.

Hope this helps ;-)

Really, who cares if their website is gone? I'm pretty sure pretty much everyone on here is secretly hoping Eureka goes out of business!

Eureka going out of business

Actually it does work if you put the www.... in the address, but usually this is not needed, without that it doesn't work.
As far as Eureka going out of business, I agree that they don't currently make anything I would be interested in, although in the past they made some awesome canisters. But most of what they make now is bagless garbage, maybe that's why Electrolux got rid of them.

Eureka website works, likely was down for maintenance/updating or your internet had a glitch. I'm greeted with that ugly FloorRover upright right now as the page ad.

Sadly, anyway you look at it, (like Hoover) Eureka pretty much will never be what they used to be. They are no longer leaders of innovation. They are simply followers of Dyson and Shark. As far as I'm concerned it's almost as if the company doesn't really exist anymore

yes, really a shame

Yes, at one time Eureka made some of the best canister vacuums, I mentioned this on another thread but I'll include a commercial to what was apparently one of Eureka's best canister line ups, the sweet 16. And apparently when their power nozzle canisters came out they really took off. Now, like Hoover they mostly make bagless garbage.

A true testament to why it is some of us don't want to see our favorite brands to be completely redesigned.

If that happens they too will be transformed into useless rubbish that is all hype and no action.

Midea of China bought the Eureka brandname from Electrolux. They did not buy the Sanitaire division.

Midea is a huge Chinese appliance manufacturer - just google the name.
