It needed some work but I greased the bottom bearing and completely cleaned the rest of the machine a couple of snaps fell off but I managed to order some dot snaps and she’s good as new!! And the 704-01 is actually the same as the regular 704 which I think was late 60s or early 70s and that one I believe was in harvest gold. The 564 is antique gold it was a promotional model from 1961 and they old made alittle over 50000 units. I finally snagged a tad bit of info on it haha!

564 is a rarer promo model. nice find. i think only 45,000 of those maybe were made, maybe less? id have to get with tom anderson on that, but it wasnt a high volume model.

Great find Justin! I have an addiction to convertibles I guess because of the colors. I lean towards the earlier metal based models as well, I kind of lost interest when the plastic based models came in, but I do own a couple of Decades. There's just something about the smooth sound of the older models.
