I own a Panasonic ceiling fan f5215, shown in the video and need to buy a light kit for it. Was looking at installing a universal one from Lowe’s but idk how that would work out.

Vintage 1985 Panasonic F-5215 Ceiling Fan

If anyone has any info on if a light kit from a hardware store is mountable to this fan please let me know. I am aware that Panasonic used to offer a light kit for this fan but have been unsuccessful in finding an oem one.

One of my neighbors had a ceiling fan just like that for his carport area.During a hurricane a tree was blown onto his carport-destroyed it and the fan.He really liked the Panasonic fan and wanted another but they were no longer made.

Good news. Was at Lowe’s the other day and took a gamble on a kit they had there. Sure enough it worked great. I got it all wired in pretty quick.
