Just look on shop vac site and seen one vacuum whit brus less motor technology seems shopvac is trying new motors for there wet dry vacuum

Super interesting. If you have a Costco Business Center in your area they often have strange vacuums including some shop vacuums I would take a look.

No costco here but Kent home supply store and Canadian Tire have some nice vacuum and shop vacs too i go there once in a while see the new stuff ,and also Shop-vac have some 2 stage motors on other shopvac i was looking at the new stuff on there site browsing.

brushless and two stage motors

Wonder which models will use the brushless motor and if they will be available in the U.S. I have yet to see a wet dry vac that is as quiet as a regular vacuum, could be because they use bypass motors, I have 8 of them and the quietest one is my Craftsman 5 gallon one. The loudest is a shop vac 6 gallon machine, you can hardly hear yourself think when using that one.

I wonder how long before the brushless motors will make their way into he commercial cleaning equipment market.

Would be nice to have the performance of a good vacuum motor without the noise level. Those that have low decibel levels usually suffer in the performance department. The back pac vacuums usually work very well.

One of the large NSS W/D vacuums has a brushless motor.You would have to look on their website for the machine.
