I have not posted for ages but had to share this monster I got the displeasure of using tonight. I clean commercial buildings at night for extra money, and the area mats were not getting very clean with just a backpack and the sidewinder tool (which I love and hate). So anyway my management brought me this big ole 4 wheeled electric dumpster with a bag.
I fired it up and a huge cloud of dirt blew all over, the motor bearings were screaming for Jesus, and the belt needed changed. So I changed the belt, it had a new bag in it already, but the dial-a-nap or whatever it's called is all jacked up. It's either too high, or so low the belt starts to squeal. Managed to get it to work for just the 4 area mats, I just lift the back of it up a bit with the handle while pulling backwards and it does the job well enough. After 4 mats, back in the cleaning closet it went, cord unwinded and all. haha |

As collectors it’s hard for many of us to believe or understand how much abuse commercial machines receive... most of the time it’s caused by user neglect. I’m sure you take much better care of your company equipment than your coworkers do makes you wonder that with no abuse how long some of these machines would last.

Sounds like time for a Dear Boss letter! That vacuum looks like it has sat in a flooded basement! |

No Disassemble # 97!!! Number 97 alive!!
I'm going to take my torx drivers and a phillips with me tonight and see what the problem is with the Busted-a-Nap. I wanted to slam the vacuum on the floor so bad last night LOL. No surprise that the paper bag they give me to use already feels like it's going to blow... |

That looks rather like a rebadged Sanitaire, or rather, it would be if it weren't half-dead, ack! |

Here’s another’s ServiceMaster without the original bag, the rest of the machine is as far as I know.
