So I was at Kmart seeing what bags they had left in their closing sale. Unfortunately none for any I have. I did look on the back of some Kenmore U Upright Vacuum HEPA bags and was reading what models they fit and it said "Also Fits Miele" What does that mean, were there Kenmore vacuums made by Miele?

Kenmore U fits Miele Z

It's also printed on our envirocare Kenmore U bags. The machine that took the Z bags were called, I think, the powerhouse. I think i read somewhere on here they were made by Panasonic?

Before Miele introduced their great S7/U1 uprights with the swivelling neck, they sold rebadged uprights made at a National Panasonic plant in Spain. 120-volt versions of these were sold in North America.

@blackheart yes for a while Miele rebranded Panasonic uprights.
Miele was not sold on the concept of uprights so they contracted it out.
