Hi,

Does anyone know the difference between the Lux Guardian upright, models U147F & U147G? They look identical except the U147F has gray wheels and the U147G has black. It's atypical for Aerus to change model ids without a color change. Btw, the motor specs on the nameplates are the same.

I'm sorry I can't give an exact reason. But Electrolux just seems to change up color exhaust filter location lights and handles between different upright models. I've never seen an Electrolux upright that wasn't awesome.

Thanks just the same for your response. I like 'em, too, but wish there were some kind of chart to keep all the changes/upgrades straight.

Without it it's hard to choose purchasing one instead of the other. Does one have a better motor ... more reinforcement ... sturdier wheels ... longer cord ... et cetera.

It may be, too, that like the Sidekicks & Sidekick IIs, the model id change indicated that a different company handled production.

I'm wondering if one model shipped with a full tool kit with the Sidekick and electrified hose vs. a basic tool kit with a non-electrified hose and no Sidekick. Or maybe tool kit vs. no tool kit.
