Hi! I'm new to the VCCC Disscuss o Vac, and my favorite vacuums are Hoover Elites, as you can tell by my name. I have a rare Hoover Elite Preferred in perfect condition. I want to see your Hoover Elites and hear about them.

I bought a brand new Hoover Elite C1404 upright at my Hoover Sales and Service Center today. It was $200.
I also bought the plastic brushroll with 4 rows of stiff white bristles for it. It was $25.

It has a 7.1 amp motor and the upgraded brushroll in it. It cleans like a Hoover Concept One!

My first vacuum in the 80's was the Elite 600 just like the one in the pic above but mine is blue. I love that vacuum. Then I got a white-grey Elite 200 with the sliding top bag. I still use them once in a while.

I don't think I have one now. I believe I gave it to a neighbor before we moved. I do have a Legacy.. what is the difference between the two?

We used to have an Elite 200. Mother bought it new in 1989 at Service Merchandise. Then we got a green Hoover Runabout in 1994 at K-Mart. They are both gone now. One was given away and the other died.Wish I still had the elite 200 It was my favorite vacuum my mother ever bought.

what model and all is the windtunnel? walmart by me carries 2 different windtunnels- one is like the supreme windtunnel and the other is the souped-up bagless. The normal windtunnel is $100 and the souped-up 1 is $240(i think)

I Love That Hoover!

The Hoover Elite 200/Turbolite is my favorite! Are type H4 bags the same a style A bags? Here is my friend's Hoover Elite 350, which is my current project, compared to my Hoover Elite Prefered, which I am sure all of y'all have heard a lot about.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is the best Hoover Elite 350 I've ever seen! Great restoration! There's nothing better than an Elite running with a big puffy, inflated bag!
