Desperately looking for defender vacuum or vacuum parts. This was a vacuum that was built in Saint Johnsbury VT. Any help or pointing in the right direction would be great. Mike

I have a Defender Vacuum, I have the tank, the electric hose , dusting brush and crevice tool. The power nozzle was all broken so I didn't save it, the power nozzle actually was a white Douglas power nozzle. Make me an offer, I am willing to sell it. The pictures are when I first got it, since I received it, I have cleaned it up, taken it apart, cleaned it all out, replaced the bearings in the motor, reseated the carbon brushes with commutator stone, it runs 100%, it is in nice shape.

It’s a rather fascinating story about how the Defender came to be. I’ve spent some time going down this rabbit hole! It’s not a real long article, check it out!
