Here's a Kenmore Elite toaster I picked up last weekend. Not usually much into new toasters, but I had the non-Elite two slice version of this and liked it. Mine had LEDs around the dial that lit up as you increased or decreased the lightness setting. This one has basically the same controls mine had, but it has an LCD for the lightness setting which is backlit in blue when you plug it in.
I seem to recall the 2 slice version of this had quartz elements, which this on does not. Probably better it doesn't have them as I recall people complained about them. I bought my toaster in 2007 or so, this would have been sold at that time. I'm not sure who made it, the prefix is 100 which I was told indicates Regina Corporation but I think they must have reused the number because Regina doesn't make sense. I was thinking possibly Electrolux or Whirlpool/KitchenAid but don't know.

I've only collected the early 20th century toasters and other small appliances. Does that one text you when the toast is done? (LOL) |

I'm more into the early appliances but some new ones are interesting. Some new toasters have the autolift/lower similar to the old Sunbeam toasters did. And they sound a beep to let you know it's done. For $500, you can get a KitchenAid 4 slice toaster with autolift and automatic warming option that lowers and rewarms the food if you forget to remove it.
How did we ever live without all of this. LOL |

one persons trash is another's covet? Then again, today I learned that theater tickets for Alexander Hamilton on Broadway start at $500 and go as high as $1,700. |
