Hey Lux14, I probably got the same problem my dial a matic 1149 has too. It doesn’t turn on as well. It was like that when I brought it on eBay back in August. But I hope the instructions help.

I also read on this sight that you can tap the bottom motor area ever so lightly with a rubber hammer and that may loosen the stuck brush. Anyone else ever tried this. I know it's a long shot and not sure the problem will come back again in the future but feel it is worh a shot. | ||
