I’m having to wipe the drool off my phone! I’d LOVE to run across a nice collection like that! If Kentucky was closer to Oregon, I’d come over and clear you out of anything you’d want to get rid of! I hope you can find a good home for this!

Electrolux & Parts

Looks like some great Elux in good condition.
Among the RAREST--
--Pic 1-The red label Mo XII is the rare last version.(The Mo XXX is early.)
--Pic 2-Under the dust I think I see a very rare! all chrome polisher that was a salesman only award of about 1961.Does it still have paper label?Power Nozzles with white plastic wand are early and somewhat hard to find(the wand was fragile). If any have NO reset button they are the first.
The deluxe Mo G and standard Mo L(labeled at bottom of bag door) are thought by many to be finest Elux ever.
Was this from a long time Elux salesman?A relative? Was he near a branch or kept his own shop if at a distance?Other collectible items if still available would be company newsletters-rings,cuff links, tie pins, etc as awards for high sales-miniature vacs as coin banks,in ceramic, etc.
Replacement parts and attachments would be useful to many here.
There is much Electrolux information on the web site of member Charles Lester.Other can provide address and add more.
Thanks for posting.

I 'think' I see the very rare Automatic F Power Nozzle PN1 in picture two. If the furniture guard is grey, that would be it. Back row, to the left. If it is that particular power nozzle, people will mortgage their homes to obtain it (they are THAT rare).

Collection

I wish you would come out Steve! rent a U-Haul! And that is a chrome polisher, no paper label though, and there are 8 or 9 of those plastic wands. This all was in a basement of an antique store. The father in law was a Electrolux dealer, who passed away and closed the doors in the 70s I believe. Been sitting in this basement that long. I got the whole pile but still have one more load to go, another 5 or so machines and ton of parts. Thanks so much rugsucker for the info! I will take a better pic of the power nozzles Dysonman1. todd PS at least four of these power nozzles do not have reset button. 541-571-7623

WOW.....I have never seen the tan plastic power nozzle and wand combination before. Wondering if it was just painted that way by an owner?? Would love to get my hands on a solid cream metal wand that Electrolux used as a replacement for the plastic wands on the ealry PN1's. Think I saw one in the photo's but not sure. Also could use a good functioning PN2. What a treasure of Lux's!!!!!!

Halfway from Pendleton to Hermiston, right on the freeway.

Easily driveable in good weather.

Are you lookin' to sell the whole collection one shot, or piece meal/lots? I'd be interested in stuff from the G onward....have no interest in anything older than that, really. If I had a place to display the older ones or an interest in such, it would be different. And no interest in the floor polisher stuff, as well.

Wished I could have found something like this yrs ago when I was starting to collect old Elux stuff and people were generally giving it away to get back the space!

My email is: shoeihell@yahoo.com

Also a very rare Electrolux--

--demonstrator unit from this seller. It is from the 60s to demonstrate the commercial vac using the cloth demo bag for the G & L in the 'Dig More Dirt' demo.I think I have seen only TWO in 30 years!
What will be next??

I have one of those demonstrator units. I have never been able to figure out how it was used. The chamber is too short to hold either a standard cloth or paper bag. The cloth bag that was inside it is about 1/2 the size of a standard cloth bag.

There are only suction-flow holes in the back of the chamber instead of on all sides, which would greatly restrict air flow. Furthermore the hose coupler area is not fully open but is restricted by the small suction-flow holes. (See photos if this doesn't make sense!)

So I can't see how this could have really have demonstrated anything.

Electrolux

The vac is a Mo XXX (30),a great but common model but looks to be in much better than average condition. The blue wand and swivel connector are from later models. The hose and upholstery attachment are not in picture but would be easy to find if needed. The RARE item is the box from a Mo LX (60) or Mo LXI (61) that would be first to use paper bag in early 50s.It would need careful packing and handling if sold and shipped.

Electrolux items

1.The shampoo brushes and tray are for the B-9 (1984) & later. At one time the Elux price for brushes was approx $75.
2.The att kit is fairly early for the Discovery upright introduced in 1986.IF you had one with Elux E and circle molded at top of plastic wannds it would be first and RARE.
3.The ashtray is BEYOND 'pretty rare'.Possibly from early 50s showing the Mo XXX that was from 1937-1954.Further beyond rare for what is probably the original glass ashtray.NICE!!

Not a large unit-that Filtex would work for a smaller house.
