Awhile ago I got a NOS lux central vac kit and it came with the metal hose hanger and the plastic piece that looks like it hold the accessories. My question is how exactly is it setup? I’ve tried a couple ways but ended up just giving up.

I’m pretty sure the bottom tab is to hang the power nozzle

Hose goes over the bracket against the wall, standard wands with floor brush attached fit into the slot on the left, Power wand with power nozzle attached hooks onto the hook in the center, crevice tool goes on the right, dusting brush with wings extended (T) hangs from the center in front of everything

Thanks that’s what I figured, always wondered why they packed them with a metal hose hanger too.

Will this actually hold the whole central vac hose? I think the hose hanger part was intended for the much shorter canister hose.

Louis, this bracket is for a canister model Electrolux, not a central vacuum. The central vacuum bracket and tool caddy is different, I will try to remember taking a picture of ours and send it to you.

That was the way it was used with the canister vacuum. The central vacuum hose was too long so you had to use the separate hose hanger. This was used with the central vacs up till they changed to the plastic, two piece, power wands

Electrolux wall rack

I have only seen this as an option(seemingly rarely sold)starting about 1982 in off white to match Olympia and later in gray for Silverado. For the canister Elux--hose goes over top rear(closest to wall),rug/floor at top center in front of hose,2 aluminum wands hanging from left, crevice tool on tab at right,Power Nozzle and wands hang with hook on sheath from lower center, above floor tool clipped on top of vac.
The later plastic wall caddy for Centralux with square plastic wand held Sidekick but not wands or PN.
