I finally finished the hood paint on my esp. It was hard matching the paint, I also was not aware what a truly thin coat of paint is on this hood. I sanded every so lightly and got down to metal.

Wow....

I have to insert my comment as well..lol

You have done a simply fabulous job of repainting your machines. I have always been super afraid of doing it, but I suppose with perserverence, and a steady hand you can have great results that you've displaed.

Great work guy!!!

Beautiful job! btw, the scuffs on the bumper will come right off with a dab of dishwashing detergent and a #0000 steel wool pad. Then wipe the bumper down with Armor-All. Same for the cord if it has any scuff marks on it.

Thanks

I am very proud once I get the tools it will be done. I also bought a dimension 1000 this week on ebay spent way too much money but it is complete with manual. It was the one my mom had when I was a kid and I loved it.

I painted a HOOVER 67, when I was 15... with a brush.

You can imagine the outcome. One day, I may "attack" it again. But, I'll call you first.

My past Eureka ESP

This is what my old Eureka ESP looked like. It was in beautiful condition, not even a scratch, when I sold it. I was 6 when I sold it because it was so loud, but there was nothing wrong with it. I hated loud vacuums when I was that age. I was worried it might explode...LOL...but it never did. I feel like a total dork now that I sold such a beautiful machine.
