And Success has come to my door!

Just a few pix inside and out of the
Super Rare Success Canister.
(the last one shows the accordion
bellows typical of Success uprights).

Its operated by the wheels turning a
crank-type axle, whose piston rod
works the bellows.

Way cool machine!

And a great piece of history, too. Those bellows-type machines look a bit clumsy to operate - are they? You should make a youtube video on how it works. :o)

Hi texaskirbyguy

The YouTube video's an interesting idea.
But I don't think a camera phone would
provide a very good result.

It is a bit cumbersome. Made just for level
carpets, tho. The design lacks a caster to lift
the nozzle above the floor surface.

I think its rare because I've never seen
another in any private collection or museum pix.

Very cool find! And let's hope you don't come down with polio after opening that collection bag! [joke]

Back in the days this was made, guessing early 1900's? People just had thin oriental rugs, or just bare hardwood plank floors in giant two-level houses.
