Hello, can someone assist me in identifying this vacuum? It says Series A but I can not locate an Electrolux Series A anywhere.

Hello. I just did some quick research. On early vacuums, they were never really modeled per se. That tag you see is just for the motor, so if it needed repair they would know what one to order.

This appears to be a 1933 Electrolux Model XII

According to the link model xii was brown or redish leatherette. Mine is blue and I don't know if it is considered leathette or not, because it does not look like the photos. Mine is more of a herringbone pattern in blue. Is there someone who I can talk to that is an expert on early Electrolux vacuums? Thank you do much!

Thank you for your help. I still don't know exactly what I have here but if anyone is interested in trading for a newer model I think I would rather have it than this one. I think it's too old to actually use. Plus I don't have a cord for it.

This is an XII but I would say it was an Electrolux rebuild around early 1950s. It seems to be in the same color and texture as the model LX.
