For those who may not have seen the Jerry Lewis film "Who's Minding the Store," there's a scene where a society lady's little dog Fifi gets sucked up by a Hoover gone amok. The lady's running around screaming "Fifi! Fifi! Where's my Fifi?" The dog can faintly be heard barking inside the bag.

That's a hilarious film btw, with lots of home appliances in it.

Based on what I read on these forums about airflow I thought it was a Kirby.

Its a Model

68 I think, in the background you can see a treasure trove of appliances, Whirlpool Washers, Tappan Fabulous 400 Ranges, Waste King Universal disposers, Universal small appliances, and of course...The complete Hoover line!! Even a big commercial I have never heard of, the then new Dial A Matic, the blue Connstellation, Pixies, and ON and ON, Back when department stores were FABULOUS!

Loved this movie - in secret - when I was a little boy. Kept on watching for it on tv. In recent years, I could review clips on the internet and was hoping somewhere in that vacuum scene I would find some - horror of horrors - Eurekas! But, not a Princess or Canned Ham or Super Automatic upright anywhere! 🙁
