I've never seen or ever heard of the dry carpet powder before. My parents used to have a govac before but it was blue and it was junk. I do have a easy vac but the dirt cup is blue instead of purple.

The GoVac was junk because it was a cordless product.

Not ALL cordless vacuum products are junk. The govac was junk because it was terrible at picking up and it did had a problem with scattering dirt when it comes to hard floors. The Shark that my parents also used to have was WAY better on picking up and didn't scatter dirt around compare to the govac. The batteries on both were alright but they aren't meant to last. One of the DustBusters that we used to have had batteries that were replaceable. And Tacony made a huge splash in the cordless vacuum industry, their cordless models are unbelievable.

Interesting. Can I see a video on your EasyVac? There are little content of them on Youtube.
