This Is a updated photo of my Hoover convertible upright vacuum cleaner with all of the attachments now including a power hand tool now it’s a home cleaning system and I got the original outer bag on it I taped the hole now

Nice classic fan-first upright! But I would be very surprised if there is enough airflow in the attachment hose to cause the mini-turbo nozzle brush to spin. These uprights never had very robust airflow as most of the cleaning action was achieved by the revolving agitator/brush roll sweeping dirt off the carpet.

I am wondering if one of those heat-applied swimming pool vinyl patches would work on bag holes like this? They do come in a multitude of colors as well as transparent.
