Hi there
Just curious...what is wrong with the part you have pictured that warrants its replacement? Could the part be repaired in some way?
Unless you find a donor machine or a used motor, I am highly doubtful you will be able to get your hands on that part. Hate to be a disappointment, but my experience with has been that Sanitaire motor parts are not sold separately...the only viable option I found for "repairing" my S661's motor was simply replacing it. If you are patient, you could probably find a cheap, used Sanitaire which would have the same part at either a thrift shop or a "junk vacuums" pile at a vac shop. But when a brand new, genuine 7 amp (840 watt) drop-in replacement is available for $42, why not? That's what I did; I simply repowered my S661 with a brand new motor. Excellent news! Sounds like you managed to save yourself a good chunk of change going that route. I'm glad you had success finding individual motor parts, something I never found a good source for.
Was the commutator damaged at all when the loose brush holder presumably rubbed against it. How does the Sanitaire run now? broomvac | ||
