I received a very interesting call a few weeks ago. A vacuum store that I have dealt with for over 40 years has been sold and the new owners don't want to deal with anything used. Basically the call said if I wanted to come and help them clean out the storage building I could take what ever I wanted. A weeks worth of worth later the building was cleaned out. Three truckloads had gone to the dump and three truckloads were in my workshop. Its now overflowing.

I've found parts for a number of my machines that I needed as well as several complete machines that will be added to my collection. (I'll add pics of the machines to this thread as I get them fixed up). Unfortunately I just don't have the room to keep everything so, as I get stuff sorted out, I will be listing a lot of the spare pieces in the supermarket here CHEAP. If anyone has specific parts they want me to keep an eye out for please let me know.

So, without further adieu, here is what my workshop now looks like.

Congratulations!!

Thanks for saving valuable merch. from the dumpster. I look forward to your posts.

I am still looking for Sunbeam items. Not sure what you have, but if you find an Oreck Dutchtech, please contact me.

I am happy for our group and for your willing to share.

Hi Garry:

The only Oreck I have come across in the pile is a Commercial XL200RH. Dont even know if it works as I have only found half of it so far. Upper handle and cord are in the pile somewhere (I remember packing them) but not sure where.

Doug
