Hi all,
Yes I know I can be obnoxious sometimes. I can also be very persistent. I did persuade a colleague of mine to buy a Miele C3 powerline (1200 W) as there is still time to do so in EU. In Sweden there is not so much to choose from. The main brands being Miele, Bosch, Electrolux and Philips. I thought the recommendation was a given.

She bought one at a sell-out for $140 new which is a low price. Ok, but she was disappointed as the dual nozzle damaged a rag rug she has.

How can I defend the Miele in this case? I tried to tell her that it could have happened with any dual nozzle regardless of brand. But she did not looked convienced.
What I will do is lend her the other tools I have: the Ecoteq (same as the airteq), turbobrush and such.

I will send her a link to this post so be gentle but give advice. Please and thanks in advance.

The pics show the dual nozzle I recieved with my Miele Powerline.

You should offer to buy her a new rag rug if your budget permits. Or if you find her attractive, you could offer to take her to lunch or dinner to make up for it. You have some responsibility to make it up to the girl, since you pressured her into buying the Miele. You should show her what settings to use on her more delicate rugs for the future. If you don't make it up to her now, she will make you pay one way or another in the future.

That was a pretty good answer I must say.
But "No make up to day". Do not give me anymore anwsers as I will only start posting music videos. One could wonder though how a dual nozzle can destroy a rug??!!

No, she is no more than a colleague in any shape or form so I quess I have to buy her a new rag rug?! Are they sensitive to vacuuming?? I can only remember the plastic ones we had in my home as a kid. Myself has only low pile synthetic "delicate" rugs and one wool handmade with no problems using the dual nozzles.

And recommendig a vacuum is not love,

I need to stop this. But it is a great song (wheather or not it is about nozzles to a Miele).

The delicate rug icon is to the left of the ear icon. Ask her what suction setting she used... Delicate is even left of that. Blame her for not reading the directions properly. She clearly underestimated her manly vacuum.
