I know the Kenmore tank style carpet cleaners were made by Singer/Ryobi. These came under names such as Power Spray, Cleanmore, Heavy Duty, and Home Cleaning System.

But I don't recall Singer having their own version of these. I know Singer came out with the turtle shaped carpet cleaners, they called the Turtle and these were sold as both Singer and Kenmore, and even Bissell Big Green after Bissell bought the Singer floor care line.

And I know Singer also had a small hand vac "Spot Cop" cleaner in the 90s, but I was wondering if they had full size cleaners prior to the Turtle.

We had a Singer Vacuum

My family had a Singer Vacuum. It was purchased in 1980 from the Singer sewing center in our town in West Virginia. The machine and all the attachments were branded Singer. Odd thing, the Singer sewing center was next to the Electrolux shop. I remember being disappointed that we didn't get an Electrolux, which came about 5 years later after the Singer died. That Electrolux is still going strong!

Old vacuum shop here is mostly now a sewing center with all kinds of sewing machines. They still sell vacs, but more like a side business. I wasn't here before 2001, but I suspect they might have even been an Electrolux dealer at one time....however, Electrolux vacs are somewhat rare here. Go over into northern Idaho and they were huge with respected salesmen.

My mother-in-law (from Idaho) was a huge Lux aficionado and gave us a first Electrolux.

As an anecdote, Singer made M1 Garands during WWII......they are said to be of superb quality...never seen one in the flesh.

Model P-21

I found one online; the model P-21. They likely made other models, too. Here are some photos:
