I have a 1976 Kirby classic 3 that uses the F&G bags. When I purchased it there was a spring that was used as a clamp to keep the bag on. Unfortunately I have lost it and have no idea how to obtain another. Any suggestions? |

Shannon,
As you may or may not know, the F&G disposable bag system used on this and other older Kirby rebuilds over the years was known to cut performance (read: reduction of airflow) and thus stress the motor noticeably. What you really need is to find the original Sani Emtor and shake out bag for this machine. ~Ben This post was last edited 08/18/2017 at 20:17 |

Get rid of that F&G system. Nothing good about it! |
