What section or category should I have listed the two hoover bags I am selling?? I look in every vacuum category and can't see them listed. No wonder there is no interest. I was forced to list them in collectables as there seems to be no section relating to vacuum cleaners or parts.

You need to broaden your search catagory

I just went on Ebay and searched "Hoover vacuum cleaner bags".

It came up with 5000 listings. But the category group wasn't Vacuum Cleaners

it was Household Supplies and Cleaning.

Try using key words and phrasing like the first listers use.

Good Luck, hoover119dude.

From ebay UK

A simple search would have told you:

Home, Furniture & DIY
- Appliances
- Ironing & Vacuuming
- Vacuum Cleaner Bags

In that order

I just saw your other post in Super Market

Hey hoover119dude. My mistake, I thought you were talking about disposable paper vacuum cleaner bags, not cloth or plastic outer bags for uprights.

Well, my advice is still the same except...

The 2nd sub-category in Household Supplies and Cleaning is

Vacuum Parts and Accessories which currently holds 347 listings,
some of which are upright outer bags.
