I managed to pick up another unusual machine for my collection this week. Although this one is going to require some work and patience finding parts.

So I present to you the Electrolux Turbomatic model D339. Made in Venezuela.

As you can see from the pictures the motor cover is broken and, consequently, there is nothing to hold the back end onto the machine (It was taped when I got it). The handgrip on the hose is badly battered and the rug/floor nozzle is the only part with it. It also has the outlet for connecting a power nozzle but the connections themselves are missing. I am hoping to find a dead Dometic machine somewhere that I can rob some parts off.

I could use some help with the following information though:

1. What year(s) was it produced? (I am thinking sometime in the 80s)

2. What parts came with it? (I am thinking combination dusting brush, creice tool (with brush head???) and a turbo brush (due to the name))

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Doug

Same machine as Z325 in Europe

Intressting find. it is the same as the Z325 here in Europe, other colour scheme.
Z325 was sold from 1975-79. you find some threads here about it.
From nozzle and colour I would date it mid 80's

Hi Gerard:

Thats about what I was thinking too. I have a model 325 from Germany as well. Similar but older style hose and rug nozzle which is why I was thinking 80s as well
