I bought a KitchenAid UltraPower blender and I noticed the white round part that the blade sits in spins with the blade. I figured it wasn't supposed to do that, and when I unscrewed the plastic bottom that sits on the motor from the glass jar, I noticed there was no gasket between the round plastic blade assembly and the jar.

Does anyone know a good source for the gasket? Also the two of the blades have a round notch in the side, are they supposed to?

Try Kitchenaid,com

I would begin with KitchenAid.com and see what they can do to assist you. They helped me with parts in the past, even their first food processor which was a repackaged RoboCoupe model, long ago discontinued.

give them the model number--usually get a response within 24 hrs.
