Came from a thrift store.#63.came with a new cast fan (not installed)...is there supposed to be a spacer,or washers between the cast fan and lower bearing ? When I start to tighten up the fan, it hits (rubs) on the vacuum housing...suspect missing shim or spacer on lower armature shaft? THANKS

There is a bearing spacer and 3 flat washers. Do you need them?
