Jay Hutson sent me this wonderful Royal Model 880 today.
This vacuum was s part of Terry Latz's collection. Still purrs like s new one and has incredible airflow. So far it has cleaned both cars (did I mention it came complete with all the attachments! Deep cleaning attachments meant to do more than just dust..LOL. So far ahead of it's time complete with an LED headlight. Thanks again Jay! As a side note this was mailed on Monday and arrived here early today all the way from Texas. Mail can't get from Dubuque to Rockford only an hour away in seven days... go figure!

I love my entire collection of beautiful Royal's, but the 880 in it's beautiful blue glory for many must be the quintessential Royal. A 3 amp 880 was my first vacuum purchased new in the late 1970's for $175.00 plus $25.00 for the tools. I don't have it anymore, but now have a 1983 4.5 amp 880 in exceptional condition. Congratulations on your beautiful example!
Anyone know what Royal called this shade of blue? Mike
